Anyways, I mainly got it for use in Xlink Kai, but last night I though I'd try out the karaoke feature in XBMC (build 2006-08-13).
All of the options are there and enabled, but I can't get it to work, even while playing a song. I tried it using an older version (2006-01-30) and it worked, but only had 2 voice mask options (?-1?, and ?0?). Only one of them (?1-?) worked. Any ideas why this might be? Anyone else had any problems (or success) with this?
Thanks for any help,

lol yeah, especially the missus
Really though, I wanted to see how the voice masks sound, and possibly modify them in some way, for use other than karaoke.... _________________

Haha, get back up there.
The only thing close I've been able to do is Voice Loopback (XDK tool). Anyone had karaoke work at all? _________________

Well, I popped in a CD+G (my mom is in the karaoke/pro audio buisiness www.lightyearmusic.com) and it recognized it as an audio cd but no words came up. So I'm thinking maybe it needs a pluggin or something for it to work. _________________

this topic rather interests me as well......secretly im a BIG karaoke fan. in flushing, queens NY they have a BUNCH of asian karaoke bars where you get a group of friends, get stupid drunk and rent out a private room with 2 mics and a TV to rock out to your facorite songs. its a TON of fun. i do it like 2x a month
but i usually use karaoke revolution for the xbox since i "just got my hands on a copy"
it would be ultra cool if you can do the karaoke feature on the XBMC! id be all over that like white on rice haha.
now if you dont mind, im going to go rock out to some really bad pat benetar like a drunk chick that thinks she sounds good LMAO!!!
