Hey everyone,
I bought a USB adapter off eBay for my Xbox, plugged it into my Xbox with a memory-stick in it and it gave me an error saying "This memory card is damaged, it has been erased" or something like that. Now i can copy gamesaves from the original M$ Dash to the memory-stick that were already on my Xbox. Is there a program for your computer so when you plug the memory-stick into the USB port, you can explore it without having to format it like action replay or something because I tried Action replay and it doen't work. Do I have to modify the Action Replay driver for it to work, or get a hacked one?
Thanks guys

I'm not sure if there is a way of doing this. I know an xbox controller can used in a PC with the right drivers, but I'm not sure about mem. sticks.
I think the xbox memory cards use the FATX type filesystem (the same as an xbox HDD), as opposed to FAT/FAT32.
I don't know a whole lot about Action Replay, but it might just be possible to use it in the way you suggested. _________________

Yeah, actio replay can be used, but thats about it for exploring the memory unit. The only other possibility that I can think of is running an emulator for linux, applying the fatx patch to the kernel, and reading/writing the memory unit that way. _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide

If you've edit the drivers and then isntalled them, it should work fine.
I usually do the reverse: mod a controller to connect to the PC, and access the memory card directly. _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide

Do you know what editing to I have to do to the Action replay drivers to make it recognise my memory-stick as a Xbox memory-card?

Go to google, search "xbox usb edit driver". It will be the second(indented) entry for xbox-linux. I just can't copy/paste teh link as I am answering from linksbox on my xbox(no paste) _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide
