i want to play live so bad its not even funny. i heard that unleashx is actually pretty good and it lets you switch your softmod on and off to let you play live. i have evox and SID 3. on my SID 3 there is no option to uninstall softmod. if i go to the install unleash x option would that overwrite my evox dash and replace it with unleash x? or would it ruin my xbox? If i choose the restore MS backup option? would that return me to the MS dash so i can play live again? if it does how would i return back to my modded dash cause i want to be able to mod halo2 too. i want to be able to mainly play live when im bored or switch to mods when a friend comes over. i just want to know an easy to understand way to be able to switch back and forth from my MS dash ( or unleash x if it actually does let you play live) to my evo x dash. i have been told of this AID thing but its way too confusing for me. PLEEAASSSEEE HHEELLPPP!! if AID is the only way i wil learn it. srry or the long post but these are mainly all my questions summed up into one post.

The only way to play XBL with a softmodded Xbox is to have the dual boot option. I know it's available through V4.5 but I'm not sure of any other SIDs.
Trying to fool XBL via simply the dashboard won't work anymore.
XBL has gotten wiser.

I feel Foam's pain. XLink Kai just isn't as "populated" as Live is. BUT, foam, SID4.5 is the only way to get on live with the dual boot option. There is no "turn off in the dashboard" anymore. The only option is SID4's dual boot, unless you want to uninstall SID3 every time you want to hop onto live, then reinstall it every time. _________________ "That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger."

there is a pic of what my dash looks like when the xbox is open and on. there is no uninstall option!!! but with sid 4. all i would have to do is just get the sid 4 linux into action replay and just install it from the game i use? if its really that simple ill do that. or would i have to delete the sid 3 linux files first off my merory card? ...i.. im going to cry... lol

well heres how to uninstall the softmod basically you have to delete the backup folder, after you copy it to your PC and then you see the restore and delete function, well restore your m$ back up and mod backup and then you delete the M$ backup and mod back up then reboot, then go into memory after the m$ dash comes up and delete the Exploits.
Then take your action replay and put SID 4.5 on it and repeat the process.
Remember all backups on the xbox have to be gone in order to install SID 4.5 or you will get a batch faill process error. _________________

you delete the e/backup after you have it on pc then goto your softmod menu that you have displayed here and you restore MS dash and Mod then delete ms dash and mod backups. _________________

and then rebbot and then delete the xplaiots then get 4.5. got it lol. now if i dont switch the modded maps back to normal and i want to show my friends the modded maps over live would i get banned with 4.5? and i have evox dash right now. ive heard that unleash x is really good. wich one should i get with 4.5 unleashx or evox?

you cant have modded maps on XBL or you will definatly be banned.
Install dualboot = Retail with sid 4.5 so you can go on live and unleashx is the best dash to use. To boot to retail mode to go on XBL you press the ejectbutton to boot the xbox to retail and the power button to go into the softmod _________________
