ok, i ordered the Hyper X cuz i like the fact it had bigger bios than the Duox 2, even tho it is cheaper than this 1, should make it better! Now does any1 wanna go ahead and tell me where and how to get bios and how to flash them? Im sure u already know but incase u dont, it has 1mb bios, and i want the best taht fits this, thanks! and o ya, it says its a 1.0-1.1(my box) but wen i look at installation it looks more like the 1.3-1.6, if sum1 can tell me a better way to look at my box version(i dont remember how i did it b4) then id appreciate it! _________________ Hotswap Tutorial|FTP Tutorial|HyperX Flashing Tutorial

i also have a few questions to ask, im going to be sauldering the BT point, say i boot up with (switch on the chip is on)with the eject button, does that turn the chip off? And, i wanna delete my softmod b4 i install the chip and run regualr MS dash BUT keep all my games, is it possible to do, with an upgraded hdd? you might want to be careful if you have never soldered before it can be very tricky on an xbox motherboard

Yes and no. If you turn on with the eject button then your chip will come on and bam your at your hacked dash. Now if you turn it on with the power button, It will boot to a reg xbox so you can play live on it. But if you are going to play just make sure you copy your eeprom and back it up and lock the new hdd. As for flashing bios..you burn it on a cd-rw or dvd-r and when you start up after all the movies and its black put the dvd in and it will read it a flash your bios. yeah be careful on that because, i messed up my motherboard when i soldered the do point and lan,hd to the back of my motherboard and i had to get a new one becaude i messed it up
