im looking to softmod my xbox but have run into many problems the mechinstallers dont work for me the game says the save can just not rin i was wondering if anybody new of another way to softmod the xbox to install xbox media center on to a new v1.6

you can use xboxhdm and ndure, but i haant used it in a while, cheack the admins, threr might be someone tht will do it for you _________________ Please post all PC Questions at PC-HQ.com

i have xbhdm downloaded onto my computer along with a copy of xbmc and dont have a clue what to do with them to make them work on the xbox

If your getting an error when your trying to load the mech game, you likely have an unusable version of Mechassault.

last night i spent about 6 hours finding anoter way to soft mod my xbox i used evoution x through splinter cell now my xbox loads to evoution x dashboard but i was to understand i could use xbmc and now i cant find it anywhere i have the files i think that i need and i ftped them to my xbox but i cant seem to get it to show up on evolution x apps menu am i doing something wrong

The best place to get the files for a non-vip member would be from xbins. Make sure that you have the latest version of xbmc.
If you want to install xbmc as your primary dash instead of evox though, I would recommend downloading AID3 and using that to install, makes things SOOOO much easier. _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide
