mm i have a little problem i just got this skin for my dashboard and i installed the skin but then i rebooted my xbox and the xbox logal comes up but then everything just goes black. i cant see anything or do anything. i need help how do i go back to a different skin or fix my dash back to normal is there a way i can get it to go back to the default skin ?

Did you do something to the defult.xbe file?? I would put the AID 3 disc in a reinstall the dash again...if not then it could be your HDD (happened to me) _________________ The mighty V6 Passat came to chew bubble gum and kick%^* and shes all out of bubble gum!

noo all i did was downloaded this new skin for my dashboard and tgen install it then restart my xbox and when i do every thing goes black i see the xbox loagal but after that it just go black and stays black i realy need help

nope my friend had the same problem and all he did was keep reboothing his xbox un til it goes back to the default skin (the blue one) but thats not working for me. and i cant ftp to my xbox

Can you not FTP because you it rejects connections, or can you not FTP cause your not set up for it, or... why?
Do you get audio from using the controller? If you just keep mashing buttons can you get a game/emulator/anything to appear?
You said it was the canadian something skin? If you point out where you got it from I'll try loading it myself and see what I can do with it.

If so, when you boot you should see the UnleashX logo, do you? Then it goes black?
If it goes black but you think the dash is working(you hear sounds when you hit buttons on the D-pad) try this:
On the d-pad, hit down 4 times.
Hit A.
On the d-pad, hit down 4 times.
Hit A.
On the d-pad, hold up for 20 seconds.
Hit A.

As long as the code's still running, all you have to do is FTP into your box and change the config.xml file.
Here's what you do. (This assumes UnleahsX is still installed to the root of E
FTP into your xbox once the "dead screen" loads. If you're using FlashFXP, that makes this all the easier. Navigate to E:\ and right click on COnfig.xml
Once that's open look for the <Skin Path="Skins\"> line. See the name of the junk skin you downloaded after that? Delete it so the line looks like this:
<Skin Path="Skins\"></skin>
Close the file, click OK under Flash, and the new edited file will replace the one on your xbox. Close FLash and reboot your xbox. You should be greeted with the old school UnleashX screen. _________________ "That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger."
