WE'll guys its finally all done, just waiting to get a digital camera and post pictures but heres what i did
controller port led's
power button led change
ata 166 upgrade
xbox jewel color change
so here what i have now
Xbox v1.6
phillips dvd drive
softomod installer deluxe 1.1
WD 80 gig hdd
ata 166 cable upgrade
evox
custom jewel
custom led's on controller ports and power button
well people say that the ata upgrade isnt worth it but i find it is when i play jade empire i would say got at least a 50% less loading time and same for halo 1 so maybe it works for some and not others, but in my eyes well worth the 10$

Can't wait to see pics.
I've recently change the colors for my own jewel after much fighting with it to red "XBOX" and silver background. _________________

Wow, very professional looking Greven. What did you use to get the silver paint out?? I think you mentioned it in another post but I forgot. _________________

Yeah, the silver, what a pain in the ass. I am fresh modding a new xbox that I got and my hair drier broke. I use a knife and pried just enough of the jewel up so I could find floss underneath and used it to saw the glue. Worked pretty good.
I use wet sanding to remove the green. To get the silver out I figured I would put the jewel in a small dish and cover it with nail polish remover for a minute, as I have done this to remove the green before. I let it sit, but my kid started crying, I got distracted, came back 20 minutes later: cracked jewel.
I luckily had another clear jewel with silver letter laying around, so I use some of the nail polish removed and a toothbrush to clean out the silver. I had to really work it, but it came out after about 5 minutes.
Moral: don't soak jewels in nail polish remover _________________
