Hi guys,
I just started modding my xbox about two weeks ago, and I've discovered the very, VERY hard way that if you mess with the files on your xbox you can completely screw it up. Regardless, I'm trying to take some of the music I've ripped from CDs and copying them to my PC hard drive, probably via FTP. I have a ton of music on there and I really don't want to re-rip all of those CDs, and I figured it would probably just be much easier if I copied them straight to my pc. All i need to know is what directory my xbox music files are in, I looked a bit and I haven't been able to find them anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

By the way....I just registered here, and might I just say, this is a nice site. Not to be a suck up or anything...but it's got a great interface and it looks like a great place, with lots of friendly people.

Yes this is indeed the best XBOX modding site in the world! But yea, it should be in Tdata/000000000/music. I think that is it. Been a while since Ive been in my xbox. Just poke around in that area. _________________ Moddingbandit

my music is located here /E/TDATA/fffe0000/music/. so probably urs will be located there too hope it helps

Yeah I found it in the ffe000. Thanks guys! Only problem is it took me like an hour and a half to rename all the music from 0000001a to their actual names. Oh well, at least I got the job done. Thanks again!

Also, if you're planning on deleting the songs off your xbox, do NOT delete them via FTP. Delete them via MSDash. If you do it via FTP, then your ST.db file will be screwed up, and your list of albums won't change when new ones are added.
