First I want to tell I have an x-box that I have chipped with the Xodus Matrix chip. The bios on it is Executer 2 Evolution 4983. So in fact I can do everything I want. Play copieed DVD's and games.
The problem is that the chip often fails. It simply won't stick on it's place So now I want to know if there is a way to flash the original x-box chip with a different bios so that I won't need my chip anymore. The only things I want are reading DVD+R. And maybe a greater Hard drive but I can do that with a softmod.
I have read some things about flashing the TSOP but what's that is that what I am looking for??
Or will a Softmod do the same for me?? Can someone please help me

Not best to ask about illegal things and pirating games and movies. BUt what you should do, is just usk electrical tape to tape the chip down. Works great. And I dont know about flash the M$chip. Probably can, but idk how. _________________ Moddingbandit

Well I also have Aid3 disk. But not sure what i can do with it. Ya well Emulators, dashboards and that kind of stuff. But will it let me read DVD+R discs.

Yes, it can read AID too. That is one of the many reasons to have a chip, it is dependable. Just get some elec. tape and it'll hold it down. _________________ Moddingbandit
