I fixed my xbox with Xboxhdm..
I guess I erased soething from the b: partition on my hard drive. I put in Halo 2: MP Map Pack and this is what it says:

No definition file (either b:\cdxmedia\cdx_ffffffff.inx or b:\cdxmed
... then it's cut off the screen.
What does this mean? If I'm missing a file or a bunch of files, can someone send me their B partition files? Would that work?
...Or if there is any links to anything that helps, thanks.

Sounds like something is corrupt to me..
Well unless someone has brought out something i dont know about.
Actually the only thing i could think of is that the B:\ drive is nknaves/DJB's SID virtual drive.. If this is a softmod wait for more answers from our softmod guru's.
Lol. Well that's what it actually said. I'm just realizing that there really isn't a "b drive".
Yeah, softmod. It happened when I installed EvoX off SID. Now when I restore my C: drive, reinstall the softmod without installing EvoX, it worked like it should. I don't have a clue as to why this happened.
Why can't I ftp? erm, o well. lol

Good to hear you got it working by restoring and remodding, as far as ftp access goes, it depends on your network, if you have a router that does dhcp (automatic address handling) just make sure to set your dash to this setting and restart the box, then you should be able to find the IP in the settings, and ftp right into the xbox. If you have a static network or a crossover cable you'll probably need to assign an ip address such as 192.168.0.2 _________________
