I burned the 3.02 AID iso for my xbox, wanted to install SID because i dont got a chip and my xbox says to check the cd for damage and to make sure its an music cd, dvd or a xbox game
cant read the AID 3.02 cd !!! is it because its not a DVD or what?
Have I burned wrong? wrong addons?

Only specific drives will read CD-Rs. If you have a CDRW, try that instead. A DVD is always better, though you may need to try a couple different brands to find one that works. Then stick with that brand
Also, when you burn the ISO, make sure that you burn it on the lowest possible speed available to increase chances of the disc working.

yep, as Greven states, depending on your optical drive CD-R may not work. I've found that Maxell CD-RW work best on all the drives that I have come across.

on my 1.4 with samsung 605B DVD rom i could use CD-R For AID Disk ect. but with my new 1.6 with Samsung 605F DVD rom my CD-R AID Disk will not work I had to burn a DVD-R disk then it worked Great.....
So i think it's best to use DVD-R's For AID disks to be shure it will work all the time.... _________________

You don't have a DVD burner yet? oooh damn, well the best way to do it right would be to get one and not mess with cd-r\rw. My NEC DVD burner only cost 35$ from newegg and this thing is awsome it has never failed me yet and I bur everything on it. Do yourself a favor and get a DVD burner you will be glad you did.
