I've got ISO's for 3 games on my computer and I can't extract them with WinRAR or WinISO. With WinISO I get the following error: Assertion failed: secs > 0, file D:\Company\(some kind of gibberish)\WinISO\Src\DLL\CFreeManage\CFreeManage.cpp, line 189. All 3 different ISOs do this. Should I be able to extract them and do you think they'll work if I burn them?

I'm not sure about burning them as I haven't actually done that, so I am sure someone else will respond.

As for ISO Extraction, I am assuming they're xbox games. If My assumption is correct then I would suggest "C-Xbox Tools." Its the program that I use to extract .ISO's.

This program is available in the "downloads" section of this site.

I don't know anything about your error either, but I have never had any problems with C-Xbox Tools.

Let me know if it helps.

I agree. If these are truly xISOs (which they probably are), I'd either burn them to DVD-R using DVD Decrypter (it's free) or extract the files from it with C-Xbox Tools, then I trasnfer them to the Xbox with FlashFXP. An easier method is to use Qwix, which can extract & transfer to Xbox in one step, but I'm old-fashioned! Wink

I don't know anything about WinISO, but I assume it extracts files from Windows ISOs... if that's the case, I doubt if would work xISOS as they are different.
