i just got a new xbox and its softmodded but a different way and i want it to be softmodded from sid and aid. So my question is there anyway to take the softmod off?
I can ftp and everything,i mainly just want to change the dashboard from evox to unleashx.
I have aid 3.03

do you want to start from scrath just to make sure that you are doing it right ... if so ... put your aid disc into the xbox .. then turn it off and reboot so it cold boots into aid .... then format your c drive, and install the MS dashboard .... now you're back to a stock xbox .... you can actually copy sid over to your hdd while you still have aid loaded so you dont have to transfer it thru a memory card if you dont have it already. then you can install sid just like new !
also if you want to just change to unleashx ... boot up AID, then just go to the directory where evox is installed and deleted all the folders and files in there associated with it ... then install unleashx to F or E drive or whereever you have the evoX dashboard, be careful and note what the extention is for the dashboard to boot (like is it called evoxdash.xbe, or whatever something.xbe) _________________ Blue Chaos
