i am a huge noob
i have downloaded surreal 64 and its in .zip. i extracted it to another folder and i want to put it on my xbox using a crossover cable. i have looked for a thousand tutorials and all of them went straight over my head. i need to know what to do with the file and where to put it,etc. could you please use eas words or explain what you mean. mytchb@hotmail.com

k this is very simple to do. Just follow these steps:
1. Make a folder in your E drive of your xbox called emulators or emus (either one). --->Surreal64
2. Then just put the emulator for the 64 inside there, make sure you unrar this file.
3. Once it is inside, go into that folder and into media and find the roms folder and place the roms folder of your choice in there(still rarred).
4. Then just when you are done adding roms for that emulator, just exit your ftp client and restart your xbox.
5.Now just load up the emulator and play your new roms!! _________________ Moddingbandit

Just go into media in the emu folder and look for roms or make a folder called roms. Then edit the .ini file to load them from there. eg: E:/emulators/media/roms _________________ Moddingbandit

there isnt a media folder there is 1964x, launcher, pj63x, plugins, ultraxle, and 3 files

Just go download Auto Installer Deluxe 3.0. It does everything for your autmatically. It is great to have. You can find it on any torrent site, such as mininova.org.

i dont have broadband so it'll take for ever to download. is it still possible to do the other way??? there wasnt a media folder in the emu folder
