i unistalled the softmod and re-installed it again and its still slow. when i had the original ms dash running it work normal the when i installed the mod again it went slow.weird? anybody?any ideas?

Well I would just try to chip it before you toss it out the window....Its could be your mobo or something else going...But I don't think its your HDD at all too so DON'T trash it yet _________________ The mighty V6 Passat came to chew bubble gum and kick%^* and shes all out of bubble gum!

i think its my hdd bcuz i put my old maxtor 80 gig hdd in my box and it works fine.

try to format it to see if it is the harddrive cos if you format it and it is still slow it has to be that.....? But formating it might correct the problem.....
it could be some bad sectors on the disk too...
if it's that on a comp you can go around them but on an Xbox i don't know mate.... _________________

okay i fixed it. i had to format g and f drive and it worked.i didnt back anything up bcuz i didnt want to fix and then put the same file back on there and corrupt it again.

take that back.its still slow.with absolutely no games and movies it works fine.i put 2 games and 1 movie and was back to slow again.
