Ok I have a DHCP network and a softmodded xbox with SID 4.5. I can FTP from my laptop but when I try to go into Mimesis it says my static network setting are incorrect. Also, the Xbox keeps choosing the same IP address as one of my other computers in the house. Also, I need some help streaming media from my PC. I've read all the tutorials but they just boggle my mind. _________________

ok to solve the mimesis thing go to where it is in ur apps go to it's config file edit it to ur ip,dns,ip address and change static from enable to disable,just type it in. the easy way is to copy it's config file to ur comp and edit it there if ur not sure how to work the config file post ur ip address,dns,dns2 and ill enter it for u into the config file and put a download link up. _________________ I came i saw i modded.

No worries I got er working Now I just need to figure out how to share my pc drives with my xbox so i can stream instead uf take up space on the HD _________________

I think you will have to set up your samba network. Or just put your music in the shared folder and it'll find it right away. _________________ Moddingbandit
