Hi guys...i have an install problem!

I have downloaded and iso'd the files upto 3.03.
I changed the config.xml and evox.ini to change my network to 192.168.1.105.
When i put the disk in and try to do:
- One-click installs - Modchip Users - Setup with EvolutionX Dash....it starts, then at 79% of the first file, i get an error with "cannot read C:\backup\eeprom.bin". then it comes up with a blank error box, then says it is finished and to reboot. It doesn't work tho!!!

Help!

Ps: I have an Xecuter2 chip (2.3 pro i think).

it should be burned at 2.4x or 4x i think 2.4x is much better and it may look sloww by it's number but it takes only 4 mins or 2 mins on ur drive depending on if u get iso making errors when u combined them

The main reason why I mentioned the burning speed is becuase it CAN make a difference.

For example, as a test I burned AID at 6x opposed to 4x like I suaully do, and I had problems, the main thing I noticed was with the music not playing properly.

So all I suggest is whatever speed you burned it at, go one slower.

Thanks guys....i followed the instructions....did not include the music tho as i had a 700mb cd-rw...wouldn't fit!

I burned it at 10x with nero...that was the only option for that disc, i couldn't go any slower!

Maybe try DVD Decrypter instead, I've found that to be more successful with Xbox ISO images.

CD-R's are the type of disc that wont usually work at all. your best bet would be to try another brand of cd-rw or maybe a dvd-r if you can.

A DVD+R might work, but I've always used DVD-R's.

I have burned on a DVD+R before on it did work, but not all drives will work with it.

Anyways, give your +R a try at 2.4x or 4x and see how it goes...

I think it depends on what kind of PC you're running.

If you're running a fast powerful PC it shouldn't matter as much, but if you're running something that's a bit older and doesn't have much RAM, the slower the better.
