Are you moving the jumper back to cable select when you put the hdd back in the xbox? _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS

k, well 1st off i had this retail that was modded but i had to put the files back on with hot swap. Then i got the MS files and put them back on with SID, the after this i re softmodded it. Now i was tryin to use the same xboxhdm for my new bigger hd that i used for my retail. So that dodnt work, i tried to reburn with the files on there now, and it tells me error 6=wen its locked and error 5=Wen its unlocked..... this is where im stcuk.
Rebuild the new hdd. Make sure it is unlocked first.
With your bare unlocked hdd place the jumper in the master position.
Hook it up to your pc and boot the xboxhdm disc.
Select "build from scratch" and large disc.
Reboot
Lock hdd. Do not opt for any password. Do not generate a password.
Reboot then power off
Unplug the hdd and move the jumper to the cable select position.
The hdd should be ready. Plug it into the xbox.
You shouldn't get a 5 or a 6. If you get a 13, 14, or 21, make a new xboxhdm disc with the same eeprom and ONLY m$dash files. (build a retail disk) Just install the softmod from there. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS

Absolutly! With that you can skip the exploits, virtual this and redirected that. Just load a dash to your liking and your ready to roll......well it takes a little fine tuning but you can't mess up like with a softmod. With a chip, eventhough the dashboard file may be corrupt, you will still be able to boot AID. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS
