Hello,
I have this xbox and it was modded before using slayer. but some time ago I tried to install AID3 and I formatted the C: i believe and then it messed it up and it was again like an original xbox.
Now I was able to run the exploit on it and I have the SID installer infront of me.
But when I select the file explorer, I see many drives. C,D,E,F,X,Y,Z.
Are all these needed ?
How would I go by and continue with installing SID?

Well formatting your drives without backing up your files...yup you deleted all the files on your box...as for the drives what size hdd do you have??? the stock one you should have C drive dash E drive app,emu, roms the rest are for game loading and playing so don't put anything in there. _________________ The mighty V6 Passat came to chew bubble gum and kick%^* and shes all out of bubble gum!

It's the origingal HD so I guess 8GB.
So I should leave all other drives as is? I don't really need anything on the drives. I just want a clean install.

Yes just leave it as is. You can do a fresh install just remember to do the sid installer first then install your dashes as apps and then w/e else you want. _________________ Moddingbandit

Ok.. I created a backup of the MS Dash and the EEPROM. For the EEPROM there are options to "move" to certain drives. Do I have to move it or just use the backup option?

Sorry for asking so many questions.. but what's the difference between EvolutionX and UnleashX, and what do you recommend ?
And when I'm done installing SID.. what is next? AID3.0 installer ?

Well it just depends on if you want a basic dashboard (evox) or one that can do more. UX I think is better b/c you can always upate it with the latest version and it offers alot more options like file manager which is a big plus to me. I recommend Unleash X definitely.
And yes, once you have install successfully, and backed up your C again then you will use AID 3.0 to install anything else you want. _________________ Moddingbandit

Tnx.. I was able to complete the installation. I just loaded AID DVD.
Is it not possible to merge the F with the E drive? And can I format those drives to remove the files that were on there from the previos "slayer" installer? Or will it remove important files from this installation ?

Do you have an upgraded hdd? If not then just leave it. You can format it if you like, but you wil have to reainstall that whole thing for softmodding again. Just reformat the E and F drive, and then do install softmod or look around for it and choose install softmod SID 4.5 and it wil install again. _________________ Moddingbandit
