i used the linux iso cd to creat the new xbox harddrive everything went well until it came to locking hard drive when i try to lock it it says aborting!! so i tried 4 different hard drives all the same results. does anyone know wat is the cause of this

It sounds like those drives you've tried are not lockable, but i could be wrong. _________________

hes already tryied mutiple hd and none seem to do the trick. what can it be? hes re done the iso re downloaded fresh xhdm1.9 but no avil _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

what he needs to do is write every thing down that shows up on the screen. It just sounds like the harddrives are not lockable. _________________

no ive tried many diff hard drives i even went here http://xboxdrives.x-pec.com/?p=list and bought some on that list but still the same thing abortion! it cant be my computer because i have used this computer before to mod an xbox and everything went great. when i bought the hard drive for the xbox i modded before that worked without a problem i had bought 2 of them the exact same one same model, same gig, same everything but its still the same thing. ive tried diff computers, diff hard drives but nothing seems to work wat else could it be
