Ok guys I have the X3 with soderless adpt. ver. 1.0 box and x3 control switch i tried to Flash the X3 3294 v16 plus and now i can hear my xbox but have no video someone please help

Its because you flashed the v1.6 bios
Go back into the .rar/.zip file that the bios came in and choose the OTHER one..
The video chips in the 1.6 a/b are different than the 1.0-1.5

ok but how will i flash it i cant get anyvid and i cant get back to the flash screen i even tried holding the power and eject at the same time ill try again though thanks for the help

Just a few more questions i cant seem to use ftp with my box also i dont know how to put an avalauch dashboard on it. One last question do you put media player on it or is it there already

For all software, your best bet would be to download AID 3.0, it has all the dashboards and XBMC (Xbox media center).
As for the ftp, if you have a DHCP router you need to adjust the setttings from a Static (192.168.0.1) to DHCP (which your router *if supported* will automatically assign a ip address.
AFter which point, you can FTP anything you want over. _________________ XBOX v1.6

ok i downloaded this ver. of Aid. 2006-02-01: v3.0 Beta 18 *FINAL*
I was typeing the wrong ip that was my problem with ftp sry i dident see it in the conor of the screen iwas trying to use the gateway ip. opps.
the Aid is still .rar do ftp like that or unzip it and i put it in C right? and im thinking about being a v.i.p. member you guy are pretty friendly xbox-scene just burned me for being new at this.

In any way shape or form, get AID 3.0 be it beta or final.
There will be many .rar files about 500+ megs. Once extracted (just right click and extract the first file only) you will be given an .iso
This is a disc image, you need an image burning program, such as within nero (burn image) or dvd decrypter (write->iso) and burn it to disc. _________________ XBOX v1.6

ok i tryed both single image and the whole folder when i reboot to dash it says it cant read the disc am i supposed to do something in the x3 live configuration

help? do i need a dummy file what files do i need to put on th cd/dvd-r and do i need to reflash my card i would prefer not to.

In the X3CL (ConfigLive) menus, you can set the bios to boot a specific file from the disc. I think, its default.xbe or ***.xbe, sorry I don't remember.
You should look at the AID 3.0 FAQ or the Manual that came with it, i remember people havingthis problem and it finally being resolved. \

it just hit me can u ftp aid 3.0 if so what files would i ftp and how would i install the Avalaunch dashboard also to go ahead and get this out the way how do i update when later updates come avalible or custom skins i know this is asking a lot and some of it might be explainable after the install if so then just say so thanks again.
