Before anyone complains, yes it is the same case as the post below mine.
Since it is dated and I did not find the answer, I did create another post.
My particular case is identical ! After messing around a new xbmc version (C:\, system), My xbox rebooted to only 5 options : Ms dashboard, Reboot, power off, settings and backup.
Folders divx, games, software and skins are now gone
It boots to evox with the original skin. One member suggested to re-create the missing folders... However, when using FlashFxp, I do see all the missing folders from the start up menu, ie games, soft Etc..
It seems that the route to this folders was erased !!! any suggestions on how to correct this situation?
Any help would greatly be appreciated

Just remove the dash that you load to and replace it. You need a fresh one b/c that one has somehow become corrupt. _________________ Moddingbandit

No way to copy a friend's evox.ini to my C:\system? Just wondering
Also any way to rename the evox.ini instead of reinstalling?

Just get the AID disc, remove old dash and reinstall. SO easy and it only deletes that dash. No save or anything. Unless you dont care about that, just do Format e then install softmod again. _________________ Moddingbandit
