After scrounging around the various Xbox mod websites and whatnot, I've come to the conclusion that I definintely want to softmod my Xbox and replace my Xbox's HDD with the 80 gigabyte HDD that I have lying around. I've basically found out that, in order to do so, I need to first mod my Xbox (using a softmod) and then getting an image from the modded HDD and place that image unto the new HDD (my 80 gig model). Looking at the steps required, I began to wonder why, exactly, I need to put in all the bucks to get action replay as well as an exploitable game (be it 007, MechAssault, or Splinter Cell), when I could just as easily skip the actual modding step by finding on the internet an image of a modded Xbox's HDD that I could use to burn onto my 80 gigabyte harddrive. Is there a way to get this image on the net? Could anyone create one for me using the steps outlined in the URL in the above paragraph?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, as it would effectively eliminate the need for investment in action replay and an exploitable game.

cuz you have to lock thwe hdd with the eeprom from the xbox, u can do a hotswap to softmod, or if u just dont fell like messing with it, we have experienced modder on staff that can do it for u for little or no fee.

I would be willing to upgrade your xboxes hard drive as well. But I would recommend j8994, he is a lot more experienced than I. He is very trustworthy. He can hook you up with what you need. _________________ Moddingbandit
