I've been able to view news, forum subjects (but not what's written), download titles and so on. Cingular has taken pitty on me and is allowing an upgrade from my current Motorola V-400. What phones can read it all on WAP? Anyone have suggestions? _________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th

Hey Shark2th, This is my phone (see link below ), it has a full HTML browser on it, so ANY site will show up. I've never had a problem with any site. (the only thing i've found i cannot do is complete a paypal transaction.) They recently updated the browser to support javascript, which gave even more flexability to this device. I always check and reply to this site from it, page loads avg. about 10-12 seconds with a good signal. yep, any of the new phones will do really.
You can surf HQ with nokia phones only at the moment that i know of and some other brands which i havent tested.
But i have to finish the wap site.. It doesnt work on all phones.. (dam it.. lol)
I now have a motorolla v3 and its a cool phone (well ithink).
Never wapped on it though.

The only phones Cingular has with a full browser are the data devices like the Treo, Blackberry and 2 new devices that just came out. They way they get you though is by charging you $39.99 on top of your regular servive for unlimited internet. The good thing is that it will allow you to get all your e-mails on your phone as well. Remember that I was a manager there so if you need any help on how to get what you want and how to do it, just let me know. I know every trick in the book. _________________

Heck Enigma, I pay damn near $20 as it is for unlimited internet on my Motorola. What I'm hoping to do is to be able to read the forum posts which I can't do with the V400.

I'm with IMP on the Sidekick II... A friend of mine had it and let me play with it at work a while back... I was on that thing for a freakin hour and a half, chatting on AIM and Yahell, browsing the web (yep, the HQ, too) and checking my mail. It handles SSL like a champ (which a lot of phones can't do) and blasts through Java like a beast on crack . I love that phone, and if they ever pick up 231, I'll be dropping Sprint like a bad habit and grabbin the Sidekick (whatever series is out). Shark, if you've got the money, and they've got the service, grab that phone it's BADASS.
