ok ive searched thru the tuts and thru these posts. but i cant find any thing about how to ftp the music and videos to me xbox under xbmc. its all about getting the vids or music from a disk...which i have none of those and if i did why waste them just to transfer music and such...where would i put the music and vids?

You simply connect to your xbox my an ftp method (IE, FlashFXP, etc) and then put them in a random folder. Then when you want to play them on xbmc you look for the folder you put the songs in just like you would do on your computer. _________________ Xbox V1.6

ok i tried that, i went to the F:/ drive and i have a folder named xbox vids with a few cool movies in it on my comp. when i try to drag the folder over in the F:/ drive the transfer fails.
its working now, ty, i didnt read ur directions quite right...
anebriation + directions = wtf?
