everytime i load my xbox it shows a screen that says system failure the last time I used my burned aid DVD-R to reinstall it but now it won't even load aid what shpuld I do
P.S. I have a crossover cable and FlashFXP but I can't properly ftp into my box because it is not recognizing my xbox alsthough when I plug it in it says that there is limited or no connection to my xbox

The reason why you can't connect is because you are getting an error when you boot the xbox.
What specific error are you getting? There should be a number in the upper left corner of the screen. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS

I was finnally able to load sid but everything I do like trying to reinstall or iunintall sid it keeps saying
Batch process failed
Batch failure The last known item was E:\Backup\MS not found
Action: Rename
also while this kept hapeening I was trying to back it up but the same screen kept coming up then I accidentally deleted it MSDash what to do
it occured to me that the only prbable way of fixing the problem is a hotswap so imma try doin that

the hotswap tutorial is the most easiest way to explain it, sorry, but I really can't help you, if you can even understand the tutorial.

my problem is after the disc
I have a extra DVD drive and IDE cable if that would help but my problem is after I take to power cable from my pc DVD rom and take the IDE cable from my xboxDVD rom what to do imma try it one more time though _________________ You have the right to remain black. use primary IDE1 for xbox to swap in from PC, and try using the DVD rom in like primary IDE2.
My personal tutorial in brief:
open up xbox, loosen the IDE of the HDD, but enought for it to be workable, but also easy to pull off.
Unplug either the DVD power or the IDE.
Power on till you see error 11 (I Think it's 11 for no DVD Drive Found)
Now with your xboxhdm disc in the computer, you'll power on, and when it starts to detect the hardware of your PC, press the PAUSE key, and rapidly unplug your xbox IDE cable from xbox NOT THE POWER MOLEX, and put your PC IDE1 Primary Master in it, and press the PAUSE key again, and it should detect your HDD, after the menu, you'll do what you have to do to fix your HDD in the way you plan. IF you get some errors about not having access the HDD, so it again, untill you get it right.
This is all I can say, since everything else is fairly simple.
PC setup is:
nothing plugged in IDE 1
DVD or CD rom with xboxhdm disc in it
PC Bios set to boot CD rom before HDD
IDE1 primary master will go into the xbox hdd once ready.
Xbox Setup is:
open up with at least 1 source from DVD unplugged, either IDE or power
HDD IDE loose, but good enough for it to send and recieve data, (how else will it get it unlocked )
I think I've explain enough, now try and see what happens.

hmmm still not ettin it maybe u can tell me wshat i am doin wrong first I unplug the power cable and ide cable from myDVD drive then I took it oout next I put the power cable back in then I started my computer the ssecond it starts i press the pausebreak button then i eiter take the ide from the xbox hardive that is already running or i take the one froim the xbox dvdrom in both casses the dvd rom is unplugged then i put either one in my dvd rom drive3 then i press space but nothing happens i don't see a screen on my tv or monitor
ps i took my harddrive out my computer case if that would help anything
oh yeah I renamed the msdash I got from pirrup to msdash and when is there suppose to be soemthing in the eephrom folder ??(this is back when I made the iso) _________________ You have the right to remain black. Everything you say will be misqouted and used against you in the court of law.
