I have been at this all day and I am more losted then before. I don't know how to import the roms to the box. I can't wrap my brain around this FTP thing. So I when out and got a pack of cd-rw and have copied them and nope this doesn't work?? What could I be doing wrong??

BTW...neogeo.roms and put the neogeo.zip(bios) and zipped the whole file with the bios and all 15 roms to and burn it to a disc. What am I doing wrong.
Thank you for looking Very Happy

Hi Pson,

You will need to learn how to ftp.. Its really not that hard..
You just need to give your xbox a ip address in the same range as your computer.. eg. 192.168.0.2 with a subnet of 255.255.255.0 if your computer ip = 192.168.0.1

read in the tutorials area.. there are tonnes of tutorials on how to ftp:
http://www.xbox-hq.com/html/xbox-tutorials.html

Once you can ftp im sure you will find it will work just fine.

im positive that your apple will have plenty of ftp programs which will work..
FTP is known as FILE TRANSFER PROTOCOL and is widely used.

You could even try ftping using just your mac (apple) browser.
type in a url like this:

eg. ftp://192.168.0.2

Thats my xbox ip address..

anyway, hope that helps.

If you find a FREE mac (apple) ftp program let me know..
Ill help you set it up..

Really the xbox is no different to network then any other pc.. Treat it like one.. YOu just need to use FTP to transfer or you could possible MAP A DRIVE too.

Look into DRIVE mapping on MACINTOSH.. Its been ages since ive played with a mac so sorry i have no idea.

In the end you just need to give your xbox a ip address just like you did for your other pc when you connected it.. its the same idea. Then use a FTP client to connect..

Once you have it connected and find a freeware ftp program you will be fine.. I may even ask you to shoot us a copy and maybe even write some small tutorials to help others..

There's not enough mac material anywhere about xbox modding.. Smile
Im sure plenty of guys would love you for it.

anyway, keep us updated in this post and enjoy the sites.
