ok eeprom.bin works good. lets delete all xboxhdm1.9 and get a fresh new download from the download sections. just type in on the search . then once you have it on the C put the extracted ms dash. exact file as the one from the download section . make iso win. once disc burned take out disc ( is your boot order to read from cd drive first?) the new hd jumper settings is on master? and cd drive as slave?

yah it was the cache folder that was messin me up. and it was on every game i tried to play disc, back-uped on hdd anything but now it works fine thx guys

well gus, i locked the hdd after all that and still the same problem... go figure.. i give up, is there anyway i can format the hdd and use my external adapter i have to hook it up via usb (i made a xbox to usb adapter).. do i just format it as fat32 or what? because when i hook up my flash drive it has (in file explorer in unleashx) L: [not formatted]... _________________ Xbox V1.0.. so old it cant host Halo2 Games anymore..

on that im not aware of .... what you guys think? error code but no digits ? correct ms dash and correct eeprom. everything went smooth on the xhdm1.9 process .. could it be the hd?

im not much into returning electronics... ok all it comes down to is locking and unlocking the hd?i dont get it?i get both numbers 05,and 06 depending if i lock or unlock the damn thing.What the hell am i doing wrong somebody please help before i bury the damn thing in my backyard.i put the eeprom in the eeprom folder and i used the c folder and the m$ dash from pirrup.nothing i do works?i am ready to take it out to the desert and shoot it to sh1t. p.s.thanx for any help.and yes i know im a dumb noob that couldnt catch rain in a thunder storm.

HEY kettles i just found your problem. after you locked it right before you plug it to the xbox change your jumper settings from master back to cs cable select. oh man why didnt i think of this. _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

i did that, but it hangs on the Xbox screen on startup, then after 30 sec or so goes to error screen, no error code.... could it be because the new hd has MS Dash but i had unleash on the old one... do i need to uninstall unleash first... ill try... _________________ Xbox V1.0.. so old it cant host Halo2 Games anymore..
