Hello all,

My xbox stopped working and I checked it with a volt meter and there was nothing getting through to the motherboard. I have now changed the PSU and when I tried turning it on, there is a clicking noise at the front of the xbox and the fan starts to move (only slightly though) but nothing happens.
There is a current getting through to the motherboard of 3.7v.

Any help and suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you Smile

If you mean on the new psu, then yes. Two on it and then an adapter as a third one.

Thanks for the replies and help Smile

make sure that you are using the right connector/adapter. For a 1.3 you need the one that has 2 rows of wires and no gap in the middle.

I have an atx style connector on the motherboard, so it has to be either a 1.6 or a 1.4/1.5. The only time the power starts going through it but only for a split second, is when I have the psu connected in 1.4/1.5 mode.

Thanks for the help Smile
