I have a softmodded xbox and very recently installed a new hard drive. Everything works fine except I can't get to my Bios screen. My dashboard and all other programs work, but when i try to boot up to the Bios screen (eject cd tray)it just goes to a blank screen??? Did it have something to do with the hd swap? I was think of trying to reinstall the game save exploit but just wanted to check with you guys first. Thanks a million.

yeah try to reinstall the softmod and then see what happens. then make sure you set it to tray open so thst you can get back to the softmod installer screen that what your l;ooking for not the bios screen you oonly have to worry about bios when you have a chip

what exactly you mean by bios? because softmods dont have it . maybe your talking about sid4 installer linux right? if so i do not recommend putting dualboot=open gamesave installer why? because it has no virtual mounts meaning if someone runs open tray and they do something guess what : they can break the mod ..... so put dual=retail for live or single boot. _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

The only 'Bios screen' that the Xbox has is the Flubber amination and the Xbox Logo. I think that you may be refering to the standard Xbox dashboard (also called M$dash.) If this is the case then we need some more info.
What exploitable game did you use?
What soft-mod exploit did you use? (Ltools, SID 2, 3, 4, 4.5, or ?)
Do you have AID 3.0? (I recommend that you download it and burn it to the right media for you.)
What is your ultimate goal? (Have a modded box that will play on live, Use XBMC, or ?) _________________ I think I like fixing Boxes more than using them!

Hey I really appreciate all your help. I'm still learning about this stuff.
Ok, let me rephrase it better. I used the splinter cell game save exploit for my soft mod. I see that I said Bios screen (didn't know any better) but I meant the screen (menu) that we use to install Evox or UnleashX. I used to be able to access it when I powered on with the tray open. Now I can't It goes to a black screen and just stays there. Otherwise everything works just great. I really appreciate the help.
