I have a Xecuter 3 CE installed in my Xbox V1.1 with a flashed 3294 Bios. The Xbox has a Samsung Drive installed, so it can't read DVD+R nor DVD+RW. My DVD Burner in my computer can only burn DVD+R oder CD-R/CD-RW. I both tried to burn the AID ISO on a CD-R and CD-RW, but when putting it in my Xbox it won't install. I used a TDK CD-R and a Philips CD-RW. The Xbox drive plays Music CDs made from these CD-R's without a flaw. What can i do now or what might i be doing wrong?

It could be just the CD's that your using, try Memorex CD's and DVD's they are the best media that the xbox can read.

But i burned an Audio CD on the same CD-R before i modded the Box and it was read without any problems. I also tried a DVD+RW, but no chance. Man, that sucks big time. Sad

Well I know the samsungs can get touchy after alot of use, you can try cleaning it and see if that helps. Or try another burning program.

I tried 3 different programs, nothing helped. I flashed my modship with the same type of cd-r's and it worked without a problem. I just can't get the Installer CD to work.

Did you use the Aid Iso Updater to add on the dummy file to the iso?

Do i need the dummyfile for burning it onto a CD-R? I thought that's only necessary when using a dvd-r? Yes i burned the image as it was described in the manual.

Always use a dummy file for any burnable media, it makes it easier for the xbox to read it.
