Hello.
I followed the guide at http://www.techfreaks.org/articles/modxbox.shtml to softmod my XBox and everything works great. My only question is in regards to backing up the EEPROM. I followed the steps to the letter, but was wondering if they do successfully back up the EEPROM. If so, would anybody know what the filename is as I would like to FTP it to my computer as a backup?
Or, did these instructions not include a step to backup my EEPROM and thus, I am hozed?
Thanks

If you pay read the messages when you are doing it, they tell you where it is backing it up to. _________________ I think I like fixing Boxes more than using them!

arrgh sid 2... well maybe you didnt back up the eeprom , download aid 3 burn it to disc run it on xbox and go to advance then install sid4.5 to hd then click install ms dash 5960 as primary dash . take out aid3 put your exploitable game and remod it .
purpose of this prodsidure? this softmod is newest and more safest 1 out there. and if you dont backup your eeprom it wont advance so then you know that you got your eeprom backed up ....
then the eeprom.bin is located E/udata/2145584 somtin/o000000000000/backup/eeprom.bin here. _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

Thanks for the input. But if I have already installed SID 2 and overwrite with SID 4.5, won't the backup that SID 4.5 create just be a backup up the hacked SID 2 EEPROM?

SID 2 Doesn't change anything about the EEPROM. _________________ I think I like fixing Boxes more than using them!
