I remember theres was some interest a few weeks back about setting up an xbox as a ftp server outside of the local network. Just wondering if anyoe has had some success with this. I got mine set up by forwarding port 21 for the ip my xbox allways uses. I'm not sure how other routers work, but mine allows me to set up port forwarding for specific devices connected to it instead of all connected. I was able to have a couple of my freinds succesfully connect and transfer files back and forth using my router's IP. Cool Jus figured I'd share with you guys I finally found the motivation to try this.

yeah i have used a xbox as a ftp server before, using a linux. a bit more secure. i like to allow different users. but i have noticed the xbox can only handle a small amount of connections compared to a pc, the xbox would crash when i had more then 30 people connect.
