Softmod Installer DEluxe v4.5 is what you are after.. I believe it does a stealth install of the softmod so you can still use XBOX LIVE.. Smile

Yeah, don't expect to be able to use burned games, play games from the Hard Drive, use game hacks (Halo and Halo 2 mod discussions are FORBIDDEN on these forums, so don't even think about asking). You try and use these wonderful things online, you'll get booted and banned before you can click "start game". I promise you.

Also, using SID 4.5, make sure to upgrade your Hard Drive and such BEFORE You sign up for xbox live... XBL doesn't like it when you sign up with one HDD serial and EEPROM and show up with the same EEPROM and a different HDD Serial.
