For some strange reason, when I put my flash drive into my homemade usb adapter, my xbox wont do anything special like format it or say that I even have one. Could someone maybe say what possibly might be the problem?

Its because your xbox dont normally reconize usb flash drives, you have to put drivers on it and then it will reconize it.

Check the list to see if its compatable.

I also have a fujifilm finepix but its not on that list though...
