ok i got the halo map pack and im not sure where to put it on my HDD and i already have halo 2 on my HDD.

which map pack did you get? The allied map pack or the legendary map pack? Whatever you got you must patch to your old maps and mainmenu. That way it'll work.

Well just load the game and d/l maps and install update. That way, they will show up on ur maps, even though its on ur hdd.
