OK I've managed to single boot softmod my xbox, but I cant find the unmount virtual C drive option to then install msdash5960. Can you give me a bit more info AngelosDracul?

The 'Unmount Virtual C' is on AID 3.0 (I think it's in the softmod section near the bottom)

Vuster, i'm really sorry i had to go away for a couple of days on short notice. I'm done with the softmod kit thanks.

Ok folks here's what I did to get M$ Dash 5960 on my xbox.
I installed softmod 4.5 single boot version.
- Loaded up AID 3.
- Selected "Install Softmod" from the menu.
- Selected "Unmount Virtual C for SID 4.5" and confirmed.
- The xbox will restart after unmounting the Virtual C
- From the Aid 3 menu I selected "Preparing your Xbox Hard Drive"
- Then selected "Format/Prepere HDD"
- Then selected "Format C Drive" and confirmed.
- Then from the main menu of AID 3 I selected "Install MS Dash 5960".
Restarted the xbox and checked the systems info and had dash 5960 installed.

Can I ask one of one of the modderators to try emailing bobajob again regarding the sodtmod kit that I sent to him. Although he has promised to return the kit to me, I have not heard from him and he is not responding to his pm. It would be nice to know that the kit is either lost or he does not want to send it back. (I am not bitter either way) I have recently brought a secondhand Xbox and would like to modd that one too and would liek confirmation either way before trawling through the secondhand market for the games again.

I know that this thread is a little old but, I have a few questions. What versions of Xboxes does this work on? Can you do this with Mech Assult as well as Splinter Cell? Basically can I get a new xbox from BB and softmod this way. I have Mech Assult that lets the linux load, the action replay card & the ability to get all the files. But if I get a new xbox it's gonna be a v1.6b and I haven't seen what versions this works on. If possible I would be willing to ship my stuff to the original poster (vuster) under the same agreement as he stated.
