Hey again guys.
Okay, last night i decided that i would take the almighty step of putting a larger hard drive into my xbox. So, i got the AID 3.0 iso, updated it and burnt to DVD.
After that i took out my original 10gb Xbox HD and replaced it with new 80gb drive and put the AID disk into the DVD drive. The AID installer came up fine and i went into format drives. After about 10 minutes i got the sinking feeling that the machine had crashed - it stopped making noises and wasn't progressing on the install at all. I gave it a little more time, but finally thought, 'What the hell' and i rebooted to start the installer again....
What a fool! Now, every time i turn on the xbox it gives me error 13 and won't load from the AID disk. I know i made a mistake somewhere here - probably with partitions or something - or i wouldn't be in this mess, can anyone help?
Thanks guys. I suck!

if the xbox is chipped just break out the xboxhdm and wipe the partitions on it and start over. _________________

Hey once more
Okay, so i did the xboxhdm thing and managed to get my xbox running with the Xbox dash. Awesome.
I figured i would start the AID disk and see what happened, but while installing Evox, it crashed again. Nightmare.
Now, when i turn the Xbox on it gives me Unspecified error (21) unless there is a game in there, then it will just play it like normal. Unfortunately, the AID disk doesn't want to read so easily so when that disk is in the drive it just goes straight to the error 21.
Do you think i should try and burn another iso for AID 3.0 or just keep trying until it works??
Thanks again

this is turning into a nightmare...all this fuss just to add a little more - well, a lot more - hard drive space...was it all worth it!
I'll keep investigating anyway and see what happens. Thanks for all your help, i love these forums.
