people tend to scratch disc..... think about it.... how i know this? cuz my sis scrach my xed disc and it frezes n wont install stuff.... so i re burned it and problem solved.... _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

hey guys i am trying out a new AID iso burn, it has the 1gb dummy file so it should be able to read. I am going to use a brand new disc, so fingers crossed, i'll put it in and the xbox will be friendly and let it work.

hey
okay, i reburnt the iso and it does run on my xbox. but - there had to be a but - when i try to install ms dash 5960, it only installs a few of the files, then stops and goes back to the main screen as if it has installed it. if i reboot the xbox i get error 13. the same thing happens with evox and xbmc when i install them. the files stop installing and go back to the main screen.
why would it do this? it doesn't make sense. surely if the damned thing reads the disk it should read the files too...arrrgggghhhh!!! please save me!!!

a trick that i learned is boot you softmodding program as if you were going to softmod and ftp to your xbox and delete files and ftp the new files over and do it that way. _________________

okay, i think i might shoot myself.
i have just put the AID 2.11 disc i burnt when i first got into this modding thing into the xbox and guess what...
IT INSTALLED EVERYTHING RIGHT FIRST DAMNED TIME!!!!!

So, thanks to a lot of trial and a lot more error, i have somehow arrived at the other side of a larger hard drive installation with a working xbox that didn't get thrown out of the window. only i could make this look difficult.
