can anyone help me, i am trying to reformat a 200 gb hard drive, it has linux on it and i wanted to know how to reformat it and load ms dashboard so i can install it in my xbox, i am trying to use the hard drive to rip about 60 xbox games that i own right to the hard drive, thanks in advance for any help jimd

You will need to know the exact type of hdd that you have and try to match it up with the hdd database here to make sure that it will work.

You can use one of the following things:

1:Modded Xbox with ModChip and Auto Installer Deluxe 3.0
2:XBHDM (desktop computer, softmod, configmagic (for eeprom))
3:Chimp2.6 (Y-Power splitter, Torx 10,15,20, softmod)

Figure out which one you have access to and go from there.
