i have the chip installed and it powers up to bios 3.0.1. i tried a couple different bios' but no luck. every time i get one loaded the xbox won't turn back on. just flashes red and green on disk drive. also want to know where to find auto installer deluxe. thanks for all the help.

Sounds to me like you just might not be loading the right bios onto your chip. I'm also curious as to how you're trying to flash your chip. With the Xecuter 3, it has a built-in HTTP flash option which is really cool. Just type an address into your web browser and you can select the bios file and violia!

thank you so much! that worked great. now i am trying to install slayer's 2.6 to get my hard drive configured(i hope). is there a better way to do it? i hate going thru life blind!
