Hey guys I'm new to the boards and was hoping you guys could help me out. My friend gave me his busted xbox which made a clicking noise everytime I booted it up and I have been trying to fix it but it keeps giving me error 16, any help would be appreciated.

Yeah that clicking could mean the harddrive is dying but the error can be fixed you may have corrupted dashboard files on your xbox hdd. Use the Auto Installer Deluxe to reinstall your dashboard.

If it is a constant clicking noise then it could be the cpu fan. Small one on top of the heatsink
