inorder for "hdlock -a" to work you need to have rebooted with option 3 from the HDM cd, and you need to have a copy of the EEPROM in the EEPROM folder on the cd. If you don't have it there that command won't work.
You can make a new cd with it in there, or make a new code with the eeprom and xboxhd (#6 I believe), then make a boot floppy(#7). _________________ I think I like fixing Boxes more than using them!

hey jman2600 tell me u did copy ur eeprom onto the eeprom folder??? ... then u type
lockhd -a exactly like that.... then enter of course... if it doesnt lock it it will tel u somthing... so try lockhd -a enter _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

Guys I posted the the exact same problem on my first mod.........If he has done everything correctly this is probably the problem, why it works I dont know. When you reeboot to option 3 and enter all your info codes etc and you get to the final and part it ask "are you sure ?" Instead of typing yes, just type y and then enter........It worked for me when no suggestions helped LOL.........I was at my last try of locking it to, and I just typed y and bingo it was locked like a chastity belt.

LOL Im telling you I tried two hhardrives and rebuilt and burned the cd many times .......reinstalled, and used everyones advice, but in the end I typed y instead of yes when it asked r u sure, and it locked no problem. NO B.S lol
