i was ready to ditch the xapt3r 1.6 for my chip. i've been soldering things for weeks now. so i installed the pin header went in perfect and then it was time to do the lpc rebuild.
so i went with the pcb rebuild that came with my chip. this was a bad idea. i soldered it in tried to boot and it would frag with the chip on but with the chip off ms worked perfect. so i looked at the soilder ponits on the pcb rebuild and it looked good. so i figured it has to have a bad soilder point.
so i desoildered the pcb board. but the soilder points for lad2 and the do were gone... little indentions were there. you could see that the do trace was lifted to the resistor. so i used the alternate do point on top of the motherboard and used the next soilder point in line of the lad2 trace.
but now my xbox frags when normal boot but works fine with chip on. so now my only idea is it from the little indentions were the lad2 and do were cause the soilder points that connects the traces are gone. is there any way to fix this. the soilder would not stick to the indentions on the board.
any ideas?????
