your original wont run because you have to make a data disk basically your xbox reads the original disk as an iso. so its not going to play. _________________

I still to this day haven't been able to get an original to read in the xbox at all. Not even as data. With a chip, or Softmod. The only way to get it to read is as an Iso file. The power as you stated isn't an issue, because the drive is more than sufficient to read the standard CD's that the PSOne format is burned on.
The emulator is designed to EMULATE not actually Run, meaning it's all software based. The program isn't designed to utilize any of the hardware in the box other than the GPU, RAM, and processor (HDD of course, too). _________________ "That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger."

ok ive used quix to make the bin/cue file an iso now what do i burn it with ? Someone on here said to burn it as an image and not an iso so how do i do this? _________________ "Pain has a face, allow me to show it to you."

Right, you've encoded your bin & cue to an iso using qwix. Simply burn this image to a disk (in nero burning rom, click on recoder -> Burn Image - not sure about other software) and you're good to go.
The disk you'll get out of it will contain the bin & cue files, but qwix encodes them so the xbox can understand them.
Pop into your xbox, launch pcsxbox, select game, select drive R, select the bin file and you're good to go!

ok heres what i get when i use qwix, it makes the bin and cue into an iso, then i burn it using nero but the problem is when i pop it in the xbox and click on the r drive nothin shows up, however when i click on the s drive the game shows up but there is no bin or cue, the only thing that shows up is Lunarsilverstarstorycomplete.iso and when i choose it nothing happens, where did i go wrong here? _________________ "Pain has a face, allow me to show it to you."

you're burning the image as a file rather than as an actual image. I recommend using the help on nero and try typing in "burn image" or something similar. That should help you out.

ok got the r drive to read the game but it froze at the loading screen, it works when i burn it on the hard drive so maybe its the disc, im using a cdrw that has beeen used a couple times so ill try an cdr and ill holla back once i do it _________________ "Pain has a face, allow me to show it to you."
