Ok, so I have a softmodded xbox thats running on Unleashed X with the Splinter Cell Exploit. Currently, I'm trying to change my eeprom because I have a new one. BUT, all the tuts on how to change it use Evolution X, so i figured it would be an easier thing to just put Evox on my box replacing Unleashed X.
Now, I used my Action Replay to get the software to my box. I can also FTP anything if necasarry. If someone could help me find software to put on my Action Replay, or something i can FTP to change to EvoX, it would probably help me out the best.
If you know a way to swap eeproms with Unleashed X, that works too
I currently have Softmod Installer Delux on my AR, but when i run the Evolution X softmod install, i get stuck at something that says like nkpaker .6 or something, then i get an error code.

Evox doesn't allow you to flash an eeprom, at least not that I know of new builds.
Evox will only allow you to flash new bios files to your Chip's Flash or bridged TSOP.
Read the tutorial using ConfigMagic, if you really want to update your eeprom.
Q.- What reason is that you want to flash new eeprom?
a) banned from xbox live.
b) doing a job for somebody.

I know that, its because the tutorials say that your eeprom is easy to be found when you do a Back up thing. It puts it in like C:\backup or w/e.
I just need to know what EXACTLy i need to do to play on halo2 matchmaking again. I have a new eeprom, and I just want to play (legitly) on halo2 MM.
Theres so many frickin theory's and im getting mad because i dont know the truth. I just want to know exactly what needs to be done so i can do it.

I dont think you need a new gamertag (since the gamertag is not banned), just need a new harddrive(?) and definitely an eeprom.

try playing any game on xbl in retail everything and if it lets you sign in to xbl then your gamertag is ban . but if you cannot sign in then u need new eeprom new hd ...
that is what u get for being a dumb ass cheater! i dont like cheaters oh well thats what u get...

That is correct. You need to reflash your eeprom and then replace the hard drive. You absolutely have to replace the hard drive after you reflash or you'll get your new eeprom banned also. Trust me...... I know. Don't worry about getting a new gamertag. The gamertag that were originally not banned aren't banned just because your xbox is banned. The gamertags are just flagged which means bungie will monitor your activities more closely.
