Ok, heres the deal. I have a chip and everything works fine. I want to know how I can play live. I have the X-Bit chip with the EvoX M8+ bios. I have a wireless router on my modem and the Linksys wireless game adapter on my X-Box. I can FTP to it fine. Someone told me I can use live as long as I turn my chip off. I cant get it to work at all. It keeps saying that it cant connect. I have to start my XBox to the dashboard then go to the Microsoft Dash and then turn my chip off. Then I try to connect to live. I was wondering if I could install another bios on my chip and just switch the load channel on my chip when I want to use live. Basically I want to use live with a modded XBox. Any help please let me know. Thanks

Should you succeed in getting on live with a modded xbox or running a modded bios, it would be the last time you got on live with that box.
Be glad you have not succeeded.
If you wish to do something like that, go on Xlink Kai and use your mods.\
They won't ban you there.

How do they ban you forever. Couldnt I just set up a new account? So theres no way to do it at all? The only game I want to play is Halo 2, which is the only game I actually have the disk for, but I dont have an unmodded XBox to play it on.

I'm not in ANY way promoting the modding of xbox live, however, the truth is all they ban you from is matchmaking. not all of xbox live -.-

i dont care about cheating on there or anything. I just only have 1 X-Box and its modded. I dont want to go buy a new one cuz I want the 360.
