i have tried numerous times to install aid 3 on the hard drive. i keep getting the batch load error. i saw the other thread which showed how to change the .xbe file and frankly i don't get it. can anyone help by providing some step by step instructions on modifying this. when i installed aid 2.1 i had no problems but i can't get this to work.

my understanding is that it has to be installed and not just copied over

Ok, first you have to extract the AID file which is the one with NO number. Then you open the iso updater and put the dummy file along with whatever you want on the iso. Then you update and save it as aid3.iso. Then use either nero or dvd decrypter to burn the iso at the slowest speed. One you have done that you should be able to load AID to the xbox. If you still can't install, you might have to reflash the bios. _________________
