error code 9 wtf
HDD parameters (PIO/DMA/or size {debug}, certain size minimum is required for debug)
i dont understand about to go crazy just put in new hdd and i get the error code 09 instinly tryed locked hdd and says error code can not unlock hdd tryed swithing ide cable and same thing so wtf if anyone can help please responed

thanks for the replies well unfortionly these is the second hdd off ebay that i got the first one was locked this one is fu*ked i hooked it up to my computer and it reconizes the maxtor hdd but it has a error and on the size it say zero screw trying to save money on ebay im going to stapples or something tomarrow and going to get it over with

picked up 80gb seagate installation was easy just put it in my bios reformated it through in aid3 and it works like a charm and you cant beat that 5yr warrenty next is figuring out my eeprom ordeal

Hey, if those other HDD's are still in Warranty(Check Mfg. webpage) you should beable to get them replaced just for the cost of shipping! _________________ I think I like fixing Boxes more than using them!

the guy i bought the maxtor hdd said im sorry the fireball 3 hdd drive is no good i can exchange it for a diamondmax plus i replied you did not send me a maxtor fireball 3 you sent me a diamondmax and asked him for exchange info he has not replied back to me yet but dont you think since he shipped me a diferant one then advirtised he should have to handle all exchange/shipping charges never had any problems on ebay and now i have one the other guy that sould me the locked hard drive said it was advertised as a oem origanal xbox hard drive and all origanal hard drives are locked defult and i replied thanks for the paperweight could care less about this one but im interested in building a programer to unlock the hard drive spare time killer to bad i have the one were you have to make the programer and not the one were you just use the terminal program you can check this out at www.llama.com im having a hard time trying to track down the max232 chip though i think i might have to get it from seagate
