Hey again guys
I have found that my xbox won't backup Grand Theft Auto San Andreas to the HDD. It has managed to backup Halo 2 alright, but after backing up GTA:SA, it just won't load the game. I am running EvoX dash, but when i try running it through XBMC its still a no go. I've checked the disk and it isn't badly scratched, DVD2Xbox says that there are no bad files and copies completely. It just doesn't seem to want to run it of the HDD.
Any suggestions would be gratefully recieved...

Hey guys
Umm..right my Xbox is a NTSC one but it has been converted to PAL so that it plays games from this region, because i'm in England and the box was made in the US or so i am told. Which region would be best to try? Also, what exactly is Complex Tools - lame question i know, but i never seen it on my Xbox!?!

try enigmah video switcher . if your xbox is ntsc then just press B and if its pal then just press A , i know this is now how it normaly is to use this program but try it like that then run the game and see what happens. _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

Actually, Enigmah video switcher doesn't apply to the games but only for the tv. TRUST ME...... I found out the hard way . Enigmah definately won't be your answer and since your xbox is softmodded the region shouldn't be the problem. It's probably the game or the hard drive. Enigmah only changes your tv settings so don't use it unless you noe what your doing or you'll just be blurredd.......

Complex tools and the enigmah video switcher can be found as an app on aid3 (no modder should be without it). Complex tools is another form of dvd2xbox, it rips the game to your hdd in what I feel is a much easier fashion than dvd2xbox and what I personally use all the time. What is your dashboard that you are using? Is the game a PAL game and have you backed up other PAL games in the past? Later. _________________ Xbox V1.6

Ah, thanks for that. I have got Aid 2.11, but will get AID 3 and brun it. I am using EvoX - but i think i will switch to XBMC when i get around to it - all my games are PAL i think and yeah, Halo 2 is PAL and that backed up without any trouble at all. Right, well i tried the game again through DVD2Xbox after changhing the game settings to 'Rest of the world PAL' and now it works. Simple problem, simple solution. I am downloading AID 3 now so i will be taking on board all your tips, thanks all!

your game will work right now because you seletcted to play the game in pal but it wont work sooner or later . my cousion did that and it didnt work UNTIL i ran enigmah video switcher and hes 100% glad i did it because it works everytime now ....
ohso0ri3nt41 : your right but only on diffrent games , in this case it WILL work perfectly fine ... so sorry my friend that i disagree with you on this one....
as for the guy with the issue please try it if your pal press A couple times doesnt matter how many then IGR and try to lauch the game.....

Hey guys
dont know if u seen the post by guy called chris0313
he was tryin to play 2 thrones from dvd/hdd
and just kept running in slow motion, easy fix
ran enigmah video switcher and pal 2 ntsc
and what u know runs like a charm.
personaly never used Complex tools
pro n cons for it??

Um, right, well i have now downloaded the aid 3 files and have used 7-Zip to unrar, so soon i will have access to enigmah and complex tools etc, i just need to know what add ons do you think i should use before i burn the ISO to disk because i'm not entirely sure which ones are relevant as i've only got a 10gb HDD.
Once i have AID 3 running i can see where things are at then and hopefully it'll all come good...
